LED and Xenon upgrade lighting for the Ford Transit Custom MK1.5 facelift (2018–2023). The facelift model changed the headlight layout — the dipped beam runs an H7 bulb and the main beam uses a separate H1 bulb (not the H15 of the pre-2018 model). If your Transit Custom has a facelift front end, this is the correct page.
We stock LED and Xenon HID options for the H7 dipped beam, H1 main beam LED upgrades, and H11 front fog lights — all plug-and-play and CANbus-ready. Beyond the headlights you'll find LED indicators, number-plate units, dynamic under mirror indicator units, reverse and rear-fog bulbs, sequential LED rear light units, full interior cab kits and Aero-fit wiper blades.
Do I need CANbus bulbs or not?
Most modern vehicles (generally 2004/2005 onwards) use a “bulb failure warning system” that monitors your bulbs via the car's CANbus. Because LEDs draw less power than halogens, they can trigger a false “bulb out” or “check light” warning, or cause flickering.
- Older vehicles (pre-2004/2005): it's unlikely you'll need CANbus bulbs.
- Newer vehicles, especially German makes such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes and VW: you almost certainly will.
- Not sure? Remove one of the bulbs in question and check for a dashboard warning. If an error shows, you'll need CANbus bulbs.
On some sensitive vehicles you may also need an external CANbus decoder (error canceller / load resistor). We stock standard LED upgrades, CANbus error-free versions and external decoders, so you can choose the right solution without the risk of warning lights or MOT issues.
Do I need a bulb holder or adaptor to fit LED bulbs?
Some vehicles use specific bulb holders or locking mechanisms to secure the bulb in the headlight housing. Even when the bulb type is correct (e.g. H7, H1, H4), it may not lock securely without a vehicle-specific holder or adaptor.
This is especially common on BMW, Mercedes, Audi and VW headlight systems, and on newer vehicles where the holder forms part of the headlight mounting. Without the correct holder the bulb may not sit in the right position, affecting beam pattern and light output.
We stock a wide range of vehicle-specific holders and adaptors. If you're unsure, check how your halogen bulb is installed, or contact our support team with photos and we'll help identify the right one.
There's more than one option for my vehicle — which will fit and work correctly?
All of the bulbs shown for your application (for example, a dipped beam) will fit your vehicle — you may simply see more than one option (e.g. multiple H7 bulbs). The right choice depends on what you're looking for:
- Direct replacement or upgrade? A standard like-for-like, or brighter/whiter output.
- CANbus compatibility? Some vehicles require error-free bulbs to prevent dashboard errors.
- Holder/adaptor required? Certain makes and models need an additional holder to fit LEDs securely.
- Brightness and performance — how much light output you want.
- Budget — options are available at different price points.
The key features of each product are listed on its product page, so you can compare easily and pick the best option for your vehicle.
Can I change one of the products in a bundled headlight package?
Our headlight bulb packages are pre-selected bundles designed for customers who want a quick, easy way to buy everything needed for their specific make, model and year, so individual items can't be swapped within a package.
If you only want some of the items (for example, dipped beam and main beam bulbs but not the indicators), you can simply buy the products individually — just add the ones you need to your basket. You can also add extra products alongside a package.
If we don't currently list a package for your vehicle and you think one would be useful, contact our customer service team and we'll be happy to create one.
